Bittybob and the Donations.
Bitty has received his first donation of 50 Euros from an anonymous source, but by reading the jf thread on this, it is not too hard to work out who that donor might be.
Apparently Bitty has an inquiring mind, and has spent an average 10 hours a day, for 20 months 'investigating' this case, by starting pointless threads and asking meaningless questions.

Re: Bittybob and the Donations.
Some comments from Mr. DeBoer on Facebook.
''Pay me? I've been working full time for nearly 2 years on this case unpaid. You go without an income for two years and understand what that feels like.''
TIP for you DeBoer, GET A REAL JOB.
''If I solve this case someone might give me a reward but unless I do I'll get SFA.''
''No I'm going to solve this case That is my job at the moment. Unpaid so I'm begging for a little help.''
''my solution is to rattle the cage.''
YES, you need one DeBoer.

If he tried that in the UK he'd be told to get off his lazy arse and find a job.
Quite apart from the fact that his sole contribution to the investigation appears to be "asking stupid questions on the jf", it was immediately apparent that he'd never cracked a book in his life and certainly had been nowhere near the files

OMG - he looks like that other nutter, in a false beard! Can't think of his name, the South African one who jumped over Murat's garden fence.

He does remind me of the burke called Birch.
Re: Bittybob and the Donations.
"The trip from NZ to Praia da Luz and staying there will be over 10,000 NZ dollars. In other words it will be out of my pocket too!"
Well that is a flat-out lie. Out of curiosity, I got some quotes. He could do return flights Wellington to Faro, first week in May for @ $1300.
I am assuming that was NZ dollars, but I couldn't find a definitive answer to that on the site I used, but if it is that equates to less than 800 euros. Worst case scenario, US $ converts to around 1,000 euros
He could add a modest hotel on for a couple of hundred euros.
My estimation is, including taxes, meals, transfers etc and assuming he wouldn't be out dining on lobster every night, he could do the entire thing and stay for a week for less than 2000 euros.
(not blowing my own trumpet but I have done a fair bit of travel planning in my time. I'd be pretty confident saying he could do it on that budget)
2,000 euros converts to @3,400 NZ dollars.

Two total burkes.
Re: Bittybob and the Donations.
Just pm'd me asking for money haha. I told him straight - he couldn't solve it in 50 years. Useless tool. He can open that window from the inside and match the finger prints with the location of Kate's that were found and then Whoooosh right off!

He sounds desperate.
Perhaps he should try organizing a piss up at his local brewery in New Zealand.

I can't believe he's asking people directly for money
What a bloody nerve

Well, no longer an issue as the 'crowdfunding' page has been closed down. I wonder who raised objections to it with the sites holders. I would not be surprised if the McCann's did, behind the scenes.
Something tells me, DeBoer is too stupid to get the message and he will try some other means of raising money.

Effectively YES.
However, I reckon he will carry on.
Doh.
Re: Bittybob and the Donations.
I can understand why You Caring thought it wasn't "a good fit" for their site, and put an end to the nonsense.
It's rather telling that he is still humoured elsewhere.

Re: Bittybob and the Donations.
If he had read their T&C page, it's quite clear
It doesn't meet those criteria
The site is open to individuals or non-profits that are needing to raise funds for personal, charitable, non-divisive causes in the following categories: medical expenses, memorial/funeral expenses, tuition/education help, adoption fundraising, pet or animal medical expenses, service trips, or helping a neighbor in need.

Exactly.
Bittybob was pissing in the wind and didn't check the criteria, other than trying to massage his own ego.
