Why are Mccann supporters so keen to quell discussion on this case ?
It is a general observation that regardless of the events in the Portuguese Courts, the stalwart McCann online team, and it is known who they are, try to silence opposing views.
Nothing has come in the way of evidence to support abduction, so is their behaviour which to me verges on paranoia, an example of fingers inserted into a dam with multiple breaches, with a decreasing numbers of fingers available to prevent the 'holes' enlarging.

Because they can't tell the difference between intelligent, rational, permissible comment and "hate", so they would just like everything to be censored - tough, it won't happen!

Precisely Texty.
They do read on here as well, which really does work some of them up into a lather, as one revealed the other day, about a certain criminologist, and who had claimed that they didn't read other forums.

Whackamole comes to mind.
The term "Whac-a-mole" (or "Whack-a-mole") is used colloquially to denote a repetitious and futile task: each time an adversary is "whacked", it only pops up again somewhere else.

Quite right.
A few of these are well known for all the wrong reasons, and are most definitely cerebrally challenged.

Possibly because:Texty wrote:"Why are McCann supporters so keen to quell discussion on this case?"

1) The "Libel Trial" went badly however it is dressed up. [James Coburn in Magnificent Seven ...."You Lost"]
2) OG is about to run into the buffers.
3) The Portuguese case remains open but they [The Portuguese] resolutely refuse to tell anyone what they are up to, including possibly even The Met.
What then is there to discuss from their point of view? apart from the usual tedious mantras:
1) The evidence points to abduction and SY and the PJ agree with us.
2) The McCanns are not suspects.
3) The dog alerts have no evidential value.
Oh I almost forgot: the theories that make killing a cat by sucking its brains out through its backside using a straw look simple in comparison. Stay out of those before you go like it as well kaboom

Just don't use paper straw...
Some people, just fall for the most pathetic, sad stories we call them vulnerable because they have a superiority complex, which, as we know, can be dangerous in the wrong mind...
They truely believe they are fighting for the poor guy's corner.
I knew right away from the first interview that there was no abduction from a window with jemmied shutters...
It just didn't happen.

The events of last week have made this an even more relevant thread.
Several members of the online McCann team have undeniably increased the rancid tones of their posts. Having to acknowledge they are, or were close associates of Nessling, has brought a few chickens home to roost.
Even now some are trying to defend him. It is TRULY NAUSEATING TO OBSERVE.
